Several years ago, my college roommates and I took a spur of the moment trip to Sedona, Arizona to escape our busy lives for a couple of days. We stayed on a horse ranch and hiked to our hearts’ content.
This beautiful, oversized, three color wrap reminds me of the gorgeous sunrises that awaited us every morning. The shawl is worked from the center out, and mosaic work makes the complicated easy—only one color is worked at a time! Happy knitting!
The pattern has written instructions for the garter stitch sections and has charted instructions for the mosaic sections, and there is a schematic to help guide the knitter.
Note: You will find that the photos of the sample knit contains more garter stitch rows than the pattern recommends. The pattern was originally written with more rows, but unfortunately many knitters ran out of yarn. I decided to update the pattern with small changes to make a slightly smaller wrap, but keep the essence of the original design. Feel free to add additional rows in Sections B and C if you feel you have enough yarn.
