Hey there! I'm Ashleigh, the maker behind Ashleigh Wempe Designs and Uffda Knits. Minnesota winters might be brutal, but that's what sparked my love for cozy knits. There's something truly special about creating beautiful, handcrafted accessories that keep you warm and stylish.

Like many Minnesotans, I'm a sucker for "Uffda" moments. (You know, that feeling when the cold hits you!) But beyond the winter chill, I'm passionate about creating unique pieces that elevate your everyday style. Whether it's a luxurious winter beanie or a breezy silk blend shawl, I pour my heart (and a lot of love) into every stitch.

My journey with yarn started way back.  Knitting is the perfect blend of creativity and comfort, allowing me to express myself while also indulging my inner perfectionist. (INTJ here, anyone?)

When I'm not dreaming up new designs, you can find me chasing after my little ones, sipping lukewarm coffee (#momlife), or exploring the beauty of Minnesota. Travel has always been a source of inspiration for my work, and someday I hope to infuse my designs with even more far-flung adventures.
