My husband and I met in Monterey, California. One of our favorite memories is driving along the California coast along the famous Highway 1 from Monterey to Big Sur. Seven years later, we had the opportunity to return to Monterey for a week and I brought this shawl along. It was just the perfect size to keep the chill in the spring air at bay. This triangular shawl is mostly garter and stockinette stitch and ends with some fun mosaic work! The pattern works best with two high-contrast yarns.
Sizing and Dimensions One size: 50” (127 cm) wingspan and 25” (64 cm) depth, measured after blocking
Exact gauge is not critical, but because the shawl requires nearly the entire skein of the MC color, deviation from the gauge will affect the size of the shawl and yarn requirements. The MC yardage listed includes a 10% buffer, but very loose knitters may still require more yarn than listed
