I lived in a little surfing and fishing village on the coast of Peru for about six months called Huanchaco. This town it holds a beloved spot in my heart. I loved watching the sunsets, the waves, and attempting to surf (I only actually stood up on the board once! I was better at just sitting on the board and letting the waves push me to shore!). This shawl is named after that town, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
