This mosaic cowl was inspired by the baths of Maria de Padilla at the Real Alcazar in Seville, Spain. It’s a quick relaxing knit with lots of pattern repeats.
Sizes Width: 13” (33 cm) Height: 8.5” (22 cm) The width and height of the cowl are easily adjustable and explained in pattern.
Yarn Singles by Asylum Fibers (100% SW Merino, Single Ply, Fingering Weight, 400 yds 366 m, 100 g 3.5 oz) One skein each in:
MC: Trickery (approximately 240 yds 220 m 60 g 2.1 oz needed)
CC: Worn Out (approximately 60 yds 55 m 15 g .5 oz needed)
Or similar weight yarn to achieve gauge
Needles Two sets of US4 (3.5 mm) or size to obtain gauge and US5 (3.75 mm ) needles at least 21” (53 cm) long The second set of US4 (3.5 mm) needles are used when grafting the two sides together, you can use the larger needle for this purpose if you don’t have a second set

Gauge 25 stitches and 40 rows = 4” /10 cm in Stockinette Stitch. Exact gauge is not critical, create a fabric that you like -- just know this will affect size of cowl and yarn requirements.
