What little girl doesn’t want to be a cowgirl? Cookie Monster, was the first horse I ever rode. Despite not growing up to become a cowgirl, horses hold a special place in my heart. Every cowgirl needs a bandana around her neck. This bandana cowl, a fuss free lace pattern knit flat with a short seam up the back, is dedicated to Cookie Monster and all those little girls who just want to ride horses all day.
Life in Central Texas means I rarely get the chance to wear a thick wool shawl or scarf, so I made this knit cowl with the look of a wrapped shawl or scarf without the bulk. The silk blend is light and airy enough to wear on a warm day!
